NEW GRADUATE EXHIBITION AT THE HARRY WOOD GALLERY / ANNUAL FACULTY MIXER / FIRST YEAR MFA SLIDE SLAM

The new graduate exhibition is not only a show but a chance for our new grads to introduce thier work to the ASU community of Faculty, students and fellow MFA's. We have a annual faculty mixer at the show with food, drinks and refreshments which is followed by a slide Slam of all the work of the incoming class across from the Harry Wood Gallery in Neeb Hall.

Welcome to all the new MFA’s!

We want to make you feel a part of the great things that are happening at the Herberger Institute, School of Art at Arizona State University by inviting you to participate in Fall programming. We are excited to have you be a part of this respected institution and hope that your experience here is everything you want and hope it to be.

As a token of our enthusiasm, we are inviting you to participate in our Annual NEW GRADUATE EXHIBITION in the Harry Wood Gallery to celebrate having you here at ASU.

The Annual NEW GRADUATE EXHIBITION is open and free to participate in for all NEW MFA Graduate students in the School of Art. 

This is a wonderful chance to get to meet your fellow grads and teachers as well as see some of the work that brought you all here together at ASU. This evening is fully catered and includes the Annual Faculty Mixer, Slide Slam and the Opening of the NEW GRAD SHOW all in one night!

We welcome your participation, and we hope you will choose to jump into fall programing, but you must follow these important rules and deadlines.

Eligibility: You MUST be a 1st Year MFA student. Sorry, this does not include Art Education majors.

Participation:

  • You must e-mail the galleries director to reserve a spot in the show so he can plan accordingly at Grant.Vetter@asu.edu

  • Come to the gallery READY TO INSTALL ON FRIDAY AUGUST 18th at 4pm by bringing ONE WORK and any special installation equipment that may be needed. (We have basic drills, screws, etc.)
  • DO NOT COME LATE OR ON SOME OTHER DAY!!!!!

 

Deadline to CONFIRM A SPOT IN THE EXHIBITION: Tuesday, August 15th.

To Confirm Your Spot: Send Your Name, Title of the Work, Medium, Size, Date of Completion and an image of the work that is under 3MG to the galleries director, Grant Vetter at Grant.Vetter@ASU.edu.
